Pursuant to Article 13 of the EU Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR), this policy describes how we process the personal data you provide to us for the purpose of renting our vehicles. Please read this policy carefully before providing your data.

1. Data Processing Owner

2. Type of data collected
   Personal data that are collected may include, but are not limited to:

• Identifying data (first name, last name, date of birth, nationality, ID, driver’s license, etc.);

• Payment details (credit card information, bank details);
• Rental data (type of vehicle, duration, place and date of vehicle delivery and return, etc.);
• Any claims or damage data.

3. Purpose of processing
   Personal data will be processed for the following purposes:

• Rental contract management, including invoice issuance and payment management;
• Fulfillment of legal obligations related to rental management, such as reporting to relevant authorities;
• Verification of the validity of the driver’s license and documents provided;
• Handling service requests or complaints;
• Direct marketing (if explicitly allowed by the client) to send offers and promotions related to our services.

4. Treatment mode
   Data will be processed in automated and manual form, with logic strictly related to the above purposes and, in any case, in such a way as to ensure the security and confidentiality of the data.
5. Data retention
   Personal data will be retained for as long as necessary to fulfill legal obligations and for contractual purposes. Data related to the rental contract will be kept for the period of the contract’s duration, and thereafter for the period required by tax and accounting regulations.
6. Data communication
   Personal data may be disclosed to third parties, only for the specified purposes, to entities that provide ancillary services to the rental (e.g., roadside assistance, insurance, etc.), as well as to relevant agencies and authorities in case of legal obligations.
7. Rights of the data subject
   The Customer has the right to:

• Access your personal data and obtain information about the purpose of processing;
• Request rectification or supplementation of their data if inaccurate or incomplete;
• Request deletion of data or restriction of processing if the data is no longer necessary for the purposes of processing or withdrawal of consent;
• Obtain data portability, that is, transfer your data to another data controller;
• Oppose processing for legitimate reasons, particularly processing for direct marketing purposes.

8. Data transfer abroad
   Personal data will not be transferred outside the European Union, unless necessary for the execution of the contract or in case of legal obligations.
9. Changes to the policy
   This policy may be subject to change. In case of substantial changes, appropriate notice will be given to the Customer. The updated policy will always be available at our office and on our website.
10. Consent
    The Customer, by signing the rental agreement, consents to the processing of personal data as described in this policy.
